Our Story

Faith Whatley-Torres, MA, BCBA, LBA

Founder and Clinical Director

Faith Whatley-Torres received her Masters in Psychology from Sam Houston State University in 2005. In 2008, Faith saw life for the first time through the eyes of a special needs parent. Her daughter, Michai, was born with a rare genetic syndrome that would lead to her medical fragility, as well as significantly impact her development. She soon discovered how difficult accessing timely and high-quality services for children and adults with exceptionalities in the East Texas area was and had always been for so many.

In 2010, shortly after the passing of her daughter, Faith was introduced to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as an Early Intervention Specialist. She was able to witness first hand the life impact behavior analysis had on the children and families receiving these services. She began pursuing a post-graduate certification in the field and became credentialed as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2013. It was at this time that a personal commitment was made to one day bring her knowledge and experience in the field to the place she calls home.

Faith has a passion for providing whole-child support and assuring those that are most critical in supporting her clients have the knowledge and compassion to do so effectively. It is her mission, to cultivate a culture within our community that embraces all members and is committed to providing life-time impact to vulnerable populations.
